Seismic Skate Systems releases the new 59mm Rippler wheel, in 4 color-coded durometers
Boulder, CO - The first new wheel shape to come out of the Seismic factory this year is aptly named the Rippler, since it sends waves of surprise and curiosity throughout the Longboard community. Why a 59mm offering from a brand best known for big wheels?
"Since 2007 we've felt that something was missing from the menu of longboard and carving wheels: a shape under 60mm with classic grip-oriented lip profiles," says Dan Gesmer, chief mastermind behind the Seismic brand.
"It's an unbeatable all-around wheel for mini cruisers, retro pool/park setups, and filmer boards!," he added.
The 59mm x 43mm wheel is molded using the company's elite race-performance "Black Ops" urethane, in harder duros than other Seismic shapes to match its small footprint.
"Sometimes smaller is better. The Rippler has been planned for about two years, and now it's finally here!"
The Rippler comes in 82A translucent orange, 86A translucent blue, 90A translucent purple, and 94A translucent black "smoke".
