Rick - Thank you for all your hardwork with the timer this weekend. You made things go very well.

I was of course happy to see the rest of my French Canadian friends.

I have to say something that might make me unpopular, but sorry I have to say it anyway.

When you sign up for a race, and don't come, or don't email or call the promoter like Pierre and Boris did, you cost them money. The town of Antrim spent $8 on t-shirts for everyone that signed up, and bought food and beer that got thrown away, paid for campsites that went unused. 66 people signed up for this race, 36 showed up. So the town planned on $1650 for the race budget, instead they collected $900. That is a big difference. I got stiffed for about $800 at the Farm from my FRIENDS.

When you throw a race where the racers are given food, water, beer, t-shirts, it's different than an outlaw in a parking lot. It costs money. Believe me, you all want to go to Antrim next year. We need to be careful how we treat these people if we want to keep coming back. I know if they have the race next year, it will cost everyone more money, to make up for no shows. That sucks doesn't it? Rookie, Raylene, Seb, Emilie, Fred, Rebecca, Mig, Dan, Julie, Louis, Rick will all have to pay more.

I'm going to ask Brian to sell the T shirts he has left. They are the worst race t-shirt ever. Still, you should buy one if you were a no show.

OK, I love you guys, I'm sorry but I had to say it. Seb, Rick, say it in French. They people are so nice. I don't want them to not like slalom anymore.

Je vais résumer les plus importants points en français comme Joe me l'a demandé.

Il y a eu beaucoup de riders qui se sont inscrit à la course d'Antrim et qui ne se sont pas présentés. Pour cause la course à un bon déficit.....La prochaine fois envoyés un E-Mail pour canceller.....La survit de l'évennement en dépent......Pour ceux qui était inscrit vous pouvez faire quelque chose en achetant un T-shirt $10.00 (en réalité il était pour vous)

Prener le chapeau s'il vous fait.....si vous vous reconnaissez .....agissez!!!!

Michel Gamache..... c'est la deuxième course de suite que tu t'inscris et que tu n'avise pas de ton désistement. Une troisième fois et tu ne pourras plus t'inscrire......

Thank you Rick. You were such a big help this weekend. Without guys like you, Mig, and Rob from NJ, the race would not have happened.

For those of you that don't know me very well, I really don't mean to be a jerk. I've been organizing races for 6 years now and this year is the first time that I've had this "no show" problem to this extent.

I'm sorry for those of you that couldn't come. You will really enjoy Antrim when you finally make it. I just want to make sure that the town still wants us to come next year.
