Alors pour ceux qui vont au Worlds voici les 2 vidéo avec le plus d'information visuel pour le GS et le TS/HS. Je vous avous que l'étude de c'est vidéo sont vraiment bon pour avoir une idée de l'inclinaison de la rue et la vittesse du parcours.

Comme on le sais le GS ça va être un SUPER GS 1min 1/2 de GS c'est pas mal long alors voici le tracer de 2007.

Le TS et le HS vont être sur la même rue que les Goerges Game. Pat et Claude vont le faire plus tight et technique que les autres années alors Watch out!! Ça risque de rocker en sale!!

J'avais tellement hâte que j'ai déjà monté mon set-up pour le GS! Un fullbag DOG, des splitfires sur des speedvents (blackops) 77mm 83a! Bonne idée?
Sinon j'avais peut-être pensé aux bigzigs 86a en avant pour avoir plus de roulement vu que l'asphalte est refaite et pour tourner plus les cones raprochés (elles sont un petit peu plus mince que les speedvents)...
Vos avis la dessus?

C'est quoi que j'apporte comme set-up? Mes 2 slaloms oui cest sur... Sinon il y a tu un pool, des belles côtes de DH?

The results are in for the 2009 GS event of the Seismic Skate Systems World Championship of Slalom Skateboarding! Thanks to everyone for a great day of racing. It was hot! Literally, 100 degrees and very little wind. Great to see all these racers converge on Hood River from all around the globe. We had a very large field of racers - 61 in all. Nice to see lots of new faces and lots of old friends. The only injury of any significance that I was made aware fo was Brad Kasha, he broke his wrist on his second run. Bummer!

The course was very long at just under 7/8 of a mile in length and over 125 cones. Longer and more cones than we have ever run on this hill in the past! Speeds at the bottom “slower section” were recorded on radar in the 23 to 27 mph range consistently all day. This was extremely fast considering that there were some very technical sections on this course thrown in to keep it interesting.

Once again – COSS represents! Placing One, Two and Three in the Men’s – Pro Division. Martin Reaves, in his new role as GS World Champion looked more like Christopher Reaves as Superman! He was over a second faster than George Pappas when the dust settled! Also, there are some very fast women on the scene who are going to make the rest of the weekend very interesting for the usual favorites. The Junior Men’s Division was dominated by Keith Henderson from the Tactis Team. Keith was running this hill more like a downhill event than a slalom event and managed to hold his tuck almost the entire course! There are a bunch of Amateur Men that really need to take the leap and race pro! The top racers in this division would have placed very nicely in the Pro Division! Guys – time to think about moving on up! But, without a doubt, the Masters Men’s Division was the most fun to watch. This division had a great representation of racers from all over the globe.

Thanks to Pat Chewning for his meticulous attention to detail with the timing and all the computer operations. The timing system worked flawlessly all day! Thanks to Judy Harris for keeping everything on schedule and making sure all the tasks were handled. We actually finished quicker than we have in the past and were off the hill on schedule! Special thanks to the army of cone heads for their tireless commitment and willingness to help out throughout the entire day – you guys were awesome! And of course – special thanks to all the Cascade Slalom Association crew – especially John Stryker, Brad Jackman and Mark Harris setting up and tearing down! You guys are always the first to step up when there is work to do! There was a lot of people that helped out today and made this a great event, sorry if I left your name out!

Et d'après ce que Seb m'a écrit, c'est lui qui a eu la plus haute vitesse enregistrée sur le radar (qui était dans la section la plus lente du tracé apparemment), toutes catégories confondues: 27 mph ou 43.5 km/h. C'est environ la même vitesse que dans la section la plus rapide d'Antrim, pour donner une idée à ceux qui y sont déjà allé.
